Retreat is a 4 day experience designed to help you grow spiritually, build relationships, and make some incredible memories! There will be dynamic worship experiences, split sessions, powerful messages & a lot of fun. We're excited to have Bro. DJ Hill as our retreat guest speaker.

This new location(Disciples Crossing in Athens, TX) is going to be tons of fun with Campfires, Fishing, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Gaga Ball, 9 Square in the Air,  Recreation Fields and more! We will have the whole retreat center to ourselves! Get ready for 4 days of life change!

The cost of the retreat is $150. This will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for each day(includes dinner Thursday night). You will also receive exclusive retreat Merch that includes a Shirt. We encourage you to bring your own journal to take notes. 

Be at the Church at 5:30PM |  Leaving the Church at 6:00PM on Thursday.

We will return Sunday at 10:15AM and attend service together. We will sit in the first 3-4 rows in the middle section.

Items to bring: 

• Bedding for the retreat(sleeping bag, sheets for twin bed, pillow, etc)
• Bring a reusable water bottle—preferably plastic so it won’t make a ton of noise if it drops. There are refillable water stations in multiple buildings, so you’ll be able to stay hydrated all weekend!
• Bible, notebook/journal, and pen
• 4 Sets of modest casual clothing. 2-3 sets of modest recreational clothing. Please remember to bring an outfit for church on Sunday morning.
• Toiletries(DEODORANT, contacts, soap, shampoo, towels, flip flops, etc) Remember you’ll be at a retreat center with community showers, so you’ll need to be portable.
• Shoes must be worn at all times. For safety reasons, shoes must fully cover the foot during all recreation activities.
• You are allowed to bring snacks but we will have plenty on sight.
• A prayerful heart, and a right attitude. Remember, this weekend is designed to help you grow spiritually, build relationships, and make some incredible memories. 
• Please note that we are unplugging this weekend and are asking students to leave their phones home or turn them in Thursday evening when we arrive at the campgrounds. If you turn it in we will place in a zip-lock bag with your name on it and return Sunday morning before leaving. This is so that there are no distractions.

RETREAT GUIDELINES
Conduct & Expectations:

• No youth of the opposite sex are allowed in cabin other than their designated rooming assignments.
• No youth are allowed to wander off on their own or with anyone else into the woods or into any other part of the retreat center.
• No Student participants that drive for the purposes of helping take equipment or coming in later because of work or etc. are allowed to leave the retreat center once they arrive.
• No Participant is allowed outside of sleeping area after lights out.
• Participants shall respect all church, rental, or retreat property, and they or their parents are responsible to pay for the repair of any damage.
• No loitering outside the appropriate areas during events.

Our Expectations:

• Have fun when it is time to have fun and think when it is time to think.
• Be where you need to be when it is time to be there.
• Respect Everyone. Respect Everything. 

Behavior:

• Participants shall not engage in handholding, kissing, or any such activities.
• No taunting or ridicule of other students are allowed.
• Acts of violence will not be tolerated, and shall be cause for dismissal.
• Smoking, drug use, drinking of alcohol, or any such activity, is not allowed.
• Vulgar language, profanity, and/or cursing are not allowed.
• Participants will keep their personal items in order.
